To celebrate the Satisfied Eye International Film Festival’s sophomore season, secondary schools, colleges and universities are invited to submit short films of up to four minutes into our Get Shorty Film Competition.
This year’s theme is ‘Canada’.
THE COMPETITION
Students can interpret the theme in any way they like. It could be as simple as a protagonist eating a maple syrup pancake, an antagonist called Moose, or a character with a penchant for Celine Dion. The only limit is imagination.
Films can be up to a maximum of 4 minutes in length (including credits) or a minimum of 60 seconds in length (including credits).
WINNERS
Winning entries will be screened at the Satisfied Eye Film Festival and receive trophies at the closing red carpet awards ceremony.
Prizes will be awarded by a panel of esteemed industry experts.
THE FESTIVAL
SEIFF presents a diverse programme of only the highest quality independent feature films, animation, documentaries and shorts from around the world.
Mixing community events, workshops, mentoring, a few famous faces and a gala red carpet awards ceremony, SEIFF is a truly celebratory, inclusive and inspiring occasion to remember.
