Satisfied Eye Cinema Club returns for its monthly club with the sumptuous Cannes awards-winner The Taste of Things.

The perfect feel-good film for the festive season, The Taste of Things is a love letter to food starring Juliette Binoche as a gourmet cook (in 19th century France) whose professional passions with the master chef for whom she has worked for 20 years begin to bubble over into her personal life.

A visual feast that's guaranteed to make your mouth water, the film picked up the best director award at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

“The Taste of Things is a movie meant to make you fall in love — with the food, with the stars, with the French countryside — and it succeeds beautifully."
