Satisfied Eye International Film Festival (SEIFF) is being launched this weekend in Epsom UK, home to the famous racecourse and the Epsom Derby, a town also world famous for its Epsom Salts.

Artistic Director Chris Hastings said: “SEIFF will present a diverse programme of only the highest quality independent feature films, animation, documentaries and short films from all around the world.

“Our key objective is for SEIFF to be seen as a mark of quality and a SEIFF award to be a stamp of recognition and true validation,” he added.

Submissions to the festival can only be made through FilmFreeway, the leading specialist site used by filmmakers around the world to enter their works into the various events.

SEIFF will run for three days from 28-28 October, 2018 and main screening events will be held in the Epsom Playhouse. All films officially selected will be screened.

Mr Hastings said that while the first year’s event would only run for three days the eventual aim was to stretch to a full week with variety of other events running alongside the festival both indoors and outside.
